About ReviewScan
Built from real conversations with the business owners it's meant to help.
Why we're building ReviewScan
Atul Sengar
Founder, ReviewScan
ReviewScan started with a simple habit: exploring cafés and hotels. Atul Sengar, the founder, spends much of his free time visiting new cafés, restaurants and small hotels — noticing not just what he liked, but how rarely those experiences turned into a review, and how little most owners seemed to know about what their customers actually thought.
That observation turned into an idea: what if leaving a genuine review was effortless for the customer — and what if the business could learn something useful even when a customer didn't leave one at all?
Before writing a single line of code, Atul shared the idea with a few café owners he'd gotten to know during his visits. Their response was clear — this would genuinely help. That early validation is what turned an idea into ReviewScan.

Spotting the gap
He noticed how rarely great experiences turned into reviews — and how little owners knew about what customers really felt.
Validating with owners
Before writing a line of code, he shared the idea with café owners he'd gotten to know. They said it would genuinely help.
Building ReviewScan
That validation is what turned an idea into ReviewScan — now being built with direct input from business owners.
